Our Mission
The Faculty and Administration of Brown
Intermediate recognize the individual
needs, developmental levels, and learning styles of our students in our
ever-changing society. It is our responsibility to provide a nurturing and
safe environment that stresses achievement, teaches responsibility, develops
leadership, accepts diversity, and provides a quality education that will help
the students as they progress through school to eventually become responsible,
successful citizens.
|
Vision Statement
 | Each student should leave our school with a continuing desire to learn
and the ability to become a responsible and productive citizen |
|
Staff Beliefs
 | All students learn in different ways & at different developmental
levels; therefore we have high expectations that every student can & will
learn. |
 | Education should be the shared responsibility of students, teachers, parents,
and the community. |
 | Respect & responsibility should be taught, modeled, practiced, &
expected. |
 | We should provide flexibility in instruction to meet individual needs
of students with a caring attitude. |
 | Teachers should use new and diverse methods to challenge all students;
continually evaluating the success or failure of these methods. |
